On May 1, 2021, Denise Derisseau of 6 Bars of Love Artisan Soaps, was awarded a $1,000 Business Builder Grant at the Spring Shopping Pop Up hosted by On Point Executive Center at Westshore Mall.
A self-proclaimed Entrepreneur at heart, Denise started her business on Mother’s Day in 2020, in honor of her late mother. Her motivation for her business is to be able to leave a family legacy as well as share her love of arts and crafts. In addition to her yummy smelling soaps, Denise has also branched out to creating homemade, natural bath bombs, soy candles and more recently, Loofah Bars.
Denise’s goals for her business growth are to create a website and set up an online store where more people have access to purchasing her soaps. To aid in her company’s growth, she participates in Vendor Pop Ups and Green Markets and Fairs throughout the Tampa Bay area. With this grant, we are confident that Denise will be able to Fulfill her Destiny with her business goals of growth and expansion.
