Karen Mertes of Fulfill Your Destiny Named Working Woman of the Week

 

Karen Mertes is a Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) from our United States Air Force. With more than 20 yrs serving in military intelligence and comptroller areas, Karen is now a professional motivational speaker with the National Speakers Association. After surviving a personal tragedy caused by a drunk driver, Karen founded Fulfill Your Destiny, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that assists people whose careers have been altered by injury or other unforeseen circumstances. Special consideration is given to those individuals, who have suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Karen is featured on the book cover of:  Fearless Women Visions of a New World and received the Fearless Women 2012 Award.  Her cover photo appeared on the Reuter’s Billboard in New York’s Time Square.
