Fulfill Your Destiny and Charity Chics hosted a Networking Event and Book Signing on July 17, 2012 at Whiskey Joe’s located at 7720 W. Courtney Campbell Causeway with the assistance of event planner, Linda Conley. Despite scattered down pours and flooding with road closures throughout the city and county, approximately 75 people braved the weather and enjoyed an amazing event where the sun shined for a beautiful evening.
For $20, attendees were treated to an Appetizer Buffet and received one Raffle Ticket. The evening also included 40 unique Silent Auction items, 4 Live Auction items and/or experiences and 15 Raffle Prizes!
Fulfill Your Destiny’s H.E.R.O. ‘Hands Eagerly Reach Out’ Awards were presented to:
- Mr. & Mrs. Vinik, Tampa Bay Lighting Community Heroes Program (Ms. Heidi Hamlin accepted);
- Karen Gillman and Lisa Ford co-founders of Charity Chics;
- Hans and Jake Koch, Doormet – The Café that Delivers!;
- Beth Blacker, Taking Care Packages;
- Chef Dave and Karen West, The Rolling Pin;
- Matt Powell, Powell & Espat; and
- Bobbie Jean Williams, FL State President for the Business and Professional Women.
This successful event raised over $5,000 all of which will go to helping people right here in our own Tampa Bay community!
