On October 31, 2022, at the Annual Dress for Success Veterans Luncheon, Shina Richburgh of My Lovely Foods was awarded a $1000 Business Builder Grant.
My Lovely Foods was started back in 2017, by Mrs. Richburgh, a retired Army sergeant. With a goal of setting an example of a successful woman-owned business for her daughters, Mrs. Richburgh started her company offering Catering and Personal chef services. She has also expanded her reach by providing Culinary Life Skill classes throughout Hillsborough County to persons of all ages.
Through her Culinary Life Skills Club, “Chef Rich” as she is fondly known as, is able to introduce children and teens of all ages to her love of all things food. She utilizes her education from Le Cordon Bleu Paris to immerse them in a multitude of cultural cuisines. In addition, Chef Rich gives back to her community in the form of scholarships to underprivileged youth to attend her Culinary Life Skills Enrichment Clubs.
Her business goals for the future include, purchasing a Food truck, in order to expand her clientele for her catering and personal chef services, as well as expanding into additional schools throughout Hillsborough County with her Culinary Life Skills classes. As the recipient of this grant, we are happy to have assisted her in taking the steps toward her goals. We look forward to seeing Chef Rich Fulfill her Destiny!
