Alicia Divico of the South Tampa Wellness Spa was awarded a $1000 Fulfill Your Destiny Business Builder Grant at the South Tampa Chamber Networking event. 

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, helping others in her community was an established part of Alicia’s daily life. In 2021, Alicia decided to pursue her dream of expanding her reach in the community. She wanted to create a space where she would grow her practice from a single counselor in an office, to a team of highly trained therapists and wellness providers practicing in a wellness spa devoted to healing the mind and body. Through this vision, the South Tampa Wellness Spa was created. In addition to offering therapy and counseling, clients are also able to focus on their overall well-being with spa services including Acupuncture and Massage Therapy. In her own words, “Our customers range from people who are stressed and want to relax to people who are passionate about holistic care vs. traditional medicine.”

Alicia and her staff continue to expand in the community by donating their services to several charities as well as hosting community events and offering free Acupuncture at her community events to educate others on its many benefits.  With this grant, Alicia hopes to continue making connections in the community and helping others to become aware of the many services the Wellness Spa offers. 

According to Alicia, “Being able to help people is my passion, and this business is my dream.” With this mindset, we are honored to have selected Alicia as the recipient of this grant, and look forward to seeing her succeed even more.
